NISAR satellite ready for launch
The NASA-ISRO Synthetic Aperture Radar, as the name suggests, is a weather satellite built by the Indian and American space agencies. It is a cutting-edge satellite that uses 2 frequencies of radar at the same time for seeing through clouds and vegetation with very high precision. NISAR will be launched on July 30 this month.
Uranus might have its own heat
Recently, a study by Oxford University revealed that Uranus might be warmer than previously expected. Researchers used modern computation to analyse data from the Voyager-2 spacecraft, which passed by Uranus in 1986. The new estimates show that Uranus is emitting more heat than it receives from the sun, suggesting that the planet might have its own heat.
