Astronomers across the world recorded a huge explosion in space this week on 9th October. They believe that this is the largest ever space explosion to ever be recorded. The explosion has been nicknamed BOAT which stands for Biggest Of All Times. Scientist believe this sound was caused by a supernova or the death of a star.

Astronomers discover new heaviest element on an exoplanet.

Astronomers detected the heaviest element yet in the atmosphere of an exoplanet using the European Southern Observatory's Very Large Telescope (VLT).
