NASA finds new planet system with 7 hot planets
NASA recently discovered a new planetary system called the Kepler-385 system around 4,670 lightyears away from the Earth. The system’s star is much hotter and larger than the sun and the 7 planets that orbit it are much hotter than any other planet in our solar system. The innermost planets are just slightly bigger than the Earth, while the outermost are around 2 to 3 times the size of the Earth.

Last week 3 astronauts who were returning to the Earth after their mission aboard the Chinese space station: Tiangong faced some unforeseen issues with their parachutes. The main parachute which was responsible for bringing the crew back down safely after entering the atmosphere, was found to be ripped. The rip however was not fatal as it was a minor tear and the parachute still functioned. Even if the parachute had not functioned as planned, the crew had a backup parachute with them. The 3 astronauts touched down safely as planned.

Scientists analyzing the data received from the New Horizons spacecraft recently discovered a new ice volcano or cryo-volcano on the dwarf planet Pluto. This is a kind of volcano that spews ice instead of lava.
