The UK fails to put its first satellite in orbit from its own grounds
The United Kingdom failed in its attempt to put a satellite in orbit from its own soil last week. The small Launcherone rocket was attached to a modified 747 aircraft which deployed the rocket 35,000 feet in the air. However, during its flight, the rocket suffered an unknown anomaly resulting in the failure of the mission.
