Artemis-II crew returns to Earth
Last week, NASA’s Artemis-II moon mission’s crew of 4 successfully returned to Earth and splashed down in the Pacific Ocean. The mission broke the record for being the farthest humans have travelled from Earth in history by travelling over 406,778 km from home. The crew did a single flyby around the Moon, using its gravity to slingshot the spacecraft back to Earth. In the future, Artemis-IV is planned to land humans on the moon.
