NASA to intentionally crash a rocket into an asteroid

NASA plans to test a rocket that could save the planet from an asteroid.

The Earth has almost been ridden of life by an asteroid before and we don’t want it happening again. NASA is preparing for the future. They have come up with an idea to protect the Earth from future asteroid threats. What if you change the direction of an asteroid so that it does not hit the Earth?

On September 27th (Indian Standard Time) NASA plans to test its Double Asteroid Redirection Test rocket (DART) which will do just that. Don’t worry this time the asteroid is no threat to Earth.
